Arbor Musica is a new age styled electric guitar based project created by Jason Johns.
Arbor Musica and the Forest series is inspired by "Tree Music", a term of endearment for
new age styled music enjoyed by Jason's father, Gary, and step-father, Eugene. Many nights
were enjoyed listening to "Tree Music" on decks in their back yards, looking out and watching
light reflecting onto the Cedar trees at the edge of the yard.
Arbor Musica is an outlet that seeks to create music that would evoke a similar atmosphere
to whomever may care to listen.

Forest Dawn is the first in the Forest series of EPs that chronicle a day in the life of a forest, taking you from early dawn to the start of the afternoon. Each track an instrumental, the melodies are played using an Ebow on an electric guitar, producing a haunting but serene atmosphere that you can imagine being sung by the forest in the early morning, if only trees had voices...
